1-2. How does Jehovah respond when we go through situations that make us sad?
Isaiah 49:15 compares Jehovah’s care with that of a mother, yet shows that his love is even more dependable. That reassures me when my emotions make me feel alone, because his attention does not depend on my feeling strong.
I also see a practical application: Bible comfort helps most when I reach for it before sadness closes me in completely. Keeping a few favorite verses saved or memorized gives me something solid to turn to during a difficult moment.
When I am sad, I want to draw close to Jehovah and let his Word calm both my mind and my heart.
I learn that Jehovah does not watch my sadness from a distance. Isaiah 66:13 presents him as a Father who gives tender comfort, assuring me that he understands the emotional weight I carry. His Word can give me calm, perspective, and strength when my feelings are overwhelming. So when I am discouraged, I want to turn first to Jehovah in prayer and let Bible passages shape my thinking. His comfort gives me a safe place to think clearly again.
