"You are worthy, Jehovah our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things" (Rev. 4:11)

Reflection for today

Worship becomes more personal when I stop thinking only about what Jehovah gives me and spend time thinking about what he deserves. Revelation 4:11 points to the most basic reason: everything exists because of him. My life, abilities, time, and opportunities are not self-created. Recognizing that can turn gratitude into action.

One way I can honor Jehovah is by speaking about him. The ministry gives me a chance to help someone see the Creator as a real Person with a name, qualities, and a purpose. But I do not want that activity to become a box I check. Love changes the tone. When I am genuinely thankful for Jehovah, I am not merely passing along information; I am sharing something valuable about Someone I care about.

A practical idea is to choose one quality of Jehovah that has meant something to me recently—his patience, generosity, justice, or compassion—and let that appreciation influence my conversations. It can make my comments more heartfelt and less mechanical.

Giving Jehovah “power” also makes me think about energy. I cannot offer unlimited time or strength, and my circumstances may change. But I can intentionally give him a meaningful share of what I do have. Worship is not measured only in quantity; wholeheartedness gives even a modest offering real weight.
